Red Zebrawood Lumber Board – 3/4″ x 6″

Red Zebrawood gets its name from the dark stripes that run across a warm reddish-brown background. Those bold lines are part of the wood itself, so the look stays even after you cut and sand it. This is one solid lumber board, milled flat and ready for the bench.

This piece measures 3/4 inch thick and 6 inches wide. That thickness is handy for box lids, small trays, cutting boards, inlay strips, and thin panel work. The 6 inch width gives you room to lay out a part or rip the board down into smaller pieces. The grain is tight and the wood feels smooth and a little waxy once you sand it.

Red Zebrawood takes a clean cut and shows off its stripes best with a clear oil or wax finish. It is firm and dense, so use sharp tools and take light passes. Clamp it down, mark your lines, and start shaping your next striped project on this board.
