Leopardwood Lumber Board – 3/4″ x 2″

Sand this Leopardwood board smooth and the wood lights up with rows of small bright flecks against a warm reddish brown. That spotted, almost lizard-skin pattern is where the name comes from, and it shows best once you add a clear oil or wax finish.

This is one solid board cut to 3/4 inch thick and 2 inch wide. Leopardwood is a heavy, dense hardwood with tight grain, so it feels firm and a little slick in the hand. It cuts and turns clean when your tools are sharp, and it takes a fine polish without much fuss. The narrow width makes it easy to work into small builds.
