These four woods grew in very different places. Zebrawood and okoume come from the forests of Africa. Padauk also comes from Africa and turns a deep red color. Walnut grows here in North America and stays a rich brown. This pack puts all four in your hands at once so you can feel and work with each one.

You get four boards, one of each wood. Every board is the same 3/4 inch thick and 4 inches wide. That makes it easy to line them up side by side and see how the grain, color, and weight change from one species to the next. Zebrawood shows bold stripes, padauk runs orange-red, walnut is smooth and dark, and okoume is light and easy to cut.
