Cherry wood darkens on its own as it sits in the light, going from a soft pink to a deep reddish brown. These bowl blanks come cut 3 inches thick, so you have plenty of depth to shape a real bowl with room to spare. You get 2 pieces in this pack.

Cherry is a joy to turn. It cuts clean on the lathe, holds fine detail, and sands down to a smooth surface with very little fuss. The grain is tight and mostly straight, with a satin sheen that shows up once you add a finish. Each blank is heavy and solid in the hand.
