Each pen blank measures 3/4″ x 3/4″ x 6″, so you have plenty of length to turn a full pen and still chuck the ends. Canarywood is a hard, heavy wood from South America. The color is the star here. You get bright yellow that runs into warm orange and pink streaks, and it deepens to a richer amber as it ages.
This wood turns clean and crisp on the lathe. It is dense and a little oily, so the grain stays smooth and takes a high polish with very little sanding. Use these for slimline pens, click pens, and other small spindle work like bottle stoppers or seam rippers.
- Size 3/4″ x 3/4″ x 6″ per blank
- Wood is real Canarywood, hard and dense
- Bright yellow with orange and pink streaks
- Good for pens and small turned projects
Next to a plain wood like maple, Canarywood gives you color you do not have to stain in, which makes each pen look one of a kind.
