The stock is flat and ready to cut, sand, and shape for small builds like knife scales, box lids, inlay strips, or a thin accent on a guitar.

Bubinga is a heavy, hard wood from Africa. It has a deep red-brown color with darker streaks running through it. The grain is tight and sometimes shows a wavy or ribbon look that pops once you add oil or finish. It cuts firm and sands to a smooth surface with very little fuzz.
