Bolivian Bocote shows off a warm honey to golden brown body with dark, wavy black and brown lines that swirl across the grain. No two boards look the same, which is part of the fun of working with this wood.

This is one Bolivian Bocote lumber board. It measures 3/4 inch thick by 4 inches wide. The size makes it a great pick for small box sides, cutting board strips, knife scales, pen blanks, and trim work. Bocote is a hard, dense wood that takes a high polish and feels smooth once finished. It also has a mild sweet smell when you cut it.
