Black Limba grows in the tropical forests of West Africa and is part of the korina family of woods. The wood has a pale tan to light yellow color with bold dark gray and brown streaks running through it. Each piece looks a little different, so no two blanks are the same.
This set gives you four square turning blanks, each cut to 2 inches by 2 inches. That size works well for pens, small bottle stoppers, handles, and other small lathe projects. The grain is mostly straight with a fine, even feel, so the wood turns clean and takes a smooth finish without much fuss.

- Set of 4 pieces
- Wood is real Black Limba, a tropical African hardwood
- Good for pens, stoppers, small handles, and turning practice
Black Limba stays stable once it is dry and holds sharp detail on the lathe, which makes it a solid pick for clean, eye-catching small work.
