Black Limba Lumber Board – 3/4″ x 4″

This Black Limba board measures 3/4 inch thick by 4 inches wide, a handy size for box sides, drawer fronts, small shelves, and trim work. The 3/4 inch thickness gives you enough wood to plane flat and still have a solid piece left for your build. The 4 inch width fits well in cutting boards and panel glue-ups too.

Black Limba comes from West Africa. It has a light tan to pale yellow color, and many boards carry dark gray and black streaks that give it a bold, striped look. The grain is mostly straight and the surface feels smooth. It sands clean and takes glue, stain, and finish with no fuss.
